I am trying to pull my heads and fix the leakers. Anyhow, I have the exhaust system completely off and took off the bolts that hold the the crossover pipe to the right head. On the left head, next to the water pump, there is a short piece of rubber coolant hose (probably 1 1/2 - 2 inches long, probably 1 1/4 inches in diameter) between the head and and the water pump (ok, maybe its not attached directly to the water pump, but it is pretty darn close. the coolant hose goes into a part that is attached to the water pump) Ok, my question/problem: it looks like I might have to take off the water pump to get this coolant hose off. There is absolutely no play to get the hose off without doing something else major. If you made it this far and understand what I'm talking about, please give me some advice.
