I stumbled across this while searching for something else. It is a case in Wisconsin in which inappropriate tires were installed on a Vanagon possibly leading to an accident and in which Continental was found negligent. I don't speak lawyerese, so that's my interpretation of this goop. My other interpretation is that if you misuse a tire, the manufacturer is at fault. Boy I love the USA. Interesting thing too is that VW settled out of court on this case too.
