Hi list,

I had a major hole in a plastic "T" piece. This "T" is not a T shape, although labeled as a T. Looks more like a coat rack with all it's nipples. It is on the other side of the fire wall near the right rear tire. The hole ( the source of my coolant demise) was about a half inch in diameter and was facing the under side of the van not the road. Plastic corrosion I guess.

This was a $40 part, I did not order new hoses for all that connects to this piece because they seemed soft and not crumbly at the ends. Also because as we know those hoses would cost around $80 to replace. Yes I know better safe than sorry, however how do I know that they were't replaced say five years ago. Should I presume there as old as my 87 gl ?

Brian Honan ,

Pittsburgh Pa , cold,, cold,, cold,,,

Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com

|
