My AFM was interesting - I did not check it with voltage as specified in Bentley, I just measured the resistance. The resistance was not linear on mine. But I plan to recheck it.

I'm also going to try the capacitor fix, but rather than mount it in the wiring, I plan to see if I can just add it internal to the AFM.

The problem I was having was that after 4 hours of freeway driving, the engine would go into limp-home mode. (Would be okay if I floored it - but trying to keep a constant speed it felt like the ignition was cutting in and out.)

Does the protraining manual give the resistance measurement that are expected? That would be good info to share.
