Don't cut any wires, just open up the 14-pin connector and re-arrange the wires as needed. You will have to run a signal wire from the dash pod all the way back to the coil, just lke on the Chevys.

John, It sure can be done. The connectors are diffrent on later model with tach so you will need to get the panel and connector, then cut/splice wires using bentley manual. Leon 85 Subwagen Westy
