Subject: Where do you mount your gauges?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1

Like it says, its time for some gauges like oil temp and pressure.

I would like to know where folks are mounting them. I am looking at Ron's collection of VDO offerings, and would like to hear pros and cons of where to mount a cluster of two or maybe even three.

I suppose a cylinder head temp would be a good thing too, but is there great value in monitoring just one head, and really only one of the cylinders?

Got my trailer today, so I have to get some more engine monitoring going on before I take a long drive.

Why are Tachs so expensive? I am looking at VDO. Are there less expensive alternatives out there?

Much obliged for all the help and great ideas. This is the first time I have looked forward to summer since my divorce. Its about time! :-)

Regards from Utah,

John
