However, I think I will expose my lack of VW knowledge and verify what the sump plate is :| Are we talking about the cover plate the holds the strainer? (that's what I called it 30 years ago on my bugs) One of disavantages of a great running van is that I seldom have to be under it, and so I am not well versed in VW'ese If it is not the 'strainer' cover, I am willing to learn :-) Thank You, John |
