My grandfather used to own a 1989 Jeep Wrangler, that has the gas cap behind the license plate, that swings down to allow for access. He bought a gadget from a Jeep parts and accessories catalog that fastens to the license plate holder, and when it was swung down, a little rod would pop up and keep the holder out of the way when refueling. The last I saw, it is still available for about $25.00, and I know I want one... Hector 1990 Carat "Claudia" |
