My van has a locking cap that using the ignition key... key stays in the cap
when removed. Hard to drive away without the key (and the cap). Plus, I
use the cap to hold the gas lever on the pump nozzel open... Hawaii doesn't
have the kind that lock open, believe it or not... they have all been
removed. The only way I could lose my cap and my key would be to use a
second key to start the car... not likely.
