Hi All, I just felt the need to share this with you all. The recent major snow storm here in the North East gave me the first opportunity to take the syncro out for a 4-wheel drive test cruise. All I can say is WOW!, do these things go in the snow! I had about 6-8 inches of snow on the road, the syncro with the rear locked, pulled right through. Even up hills! I must add though, I recently installed 15" wheels with aggressive M+S tires. Folks who were snow blowing their driveways were looking at me like I was nuts. I have no regrets buying a syncro Vanagon. Pics of my van can be found on the webpage below. -Ed Ed Shultz 1987 Syncro GL Photos: http://homepage.mac.com/eshultz/PhotoAlbum.html |
