Hello. I am new at this, so please bear with me. I did a search on the webpage archives for all messages having to do with Rivieras and didn't see a response to my question. I have recently bought a 1982 vanagon with an ASI Riviera conversion. The nylon wheels that slide in the tracks for the support arms in the poptop are mostly broken. I was wondering if there is any backyard solution to this problem. I tried to replace the nylon wheels with metal washers of the same size, but I think the top is too heavy and the washers bind up. Is my only solution to call every junkyard between here and Omaha? Thanks for any suggestions. David |
