Thanks Jerry, I do have a multimeter (my dad got it for me) but have only ever used it to check batteries. Could you explain what I need to do to check the switch? I know it sounds kind of silly but I really don't know and feel kind of intimidated by electrical things. I have tried the archives but keep getting "timed-out." Your help would be much appreciated! -Loretta 87 Syncro GL
