First of all, it's spelled 'syncro'. 'Synchyro' is the worst misspelling I've ever seen! :-)

Secondly, you'll have a lot easier time finding one if you expand your search to west of the Mississippi. Denver, Albuquerque, San Francisco bay, and Seattle are all Vanagon hot spots. Warning, however: Vanagons west of the Mississip tend to be more expensive (they also often have less rust.)

Thirdly, keep your eyes on the on-line sites. Daily. That's how I found Francis, my '91 syncro westy, after 6 months of searching.
