Subject: home engine repair: exhaust struggles, one man flush
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hello... This weekend I'm trying to get finished on all the loose ends of my project. I've been busy with apt. searches and work during the week......and, of course, putting a lot of the last bits and pieces back together has been kinda of annoying..

Such as the exhaust pipes. I hate exhaust plumbing, generally speaking. Last spring I replaced the rear crossover and besides the puzzle of installing it, the outlet didn't quite match out with the front crossover.....so there was allways some tension in that area.... Now, the same holds again,... this time it appears even more of a failure to have the front and rear meet. I don't want to break a pipe here. I am thinking about doulbing my gasket on the larger space. ANy thought on that? I'll go through the same process again of slowly tightening it all down., I guess. Lots of cussing is involved. First I will go buy new hareware,,,,,,methinks that is a portion of the problem.

After that, I'm going to hook up the battery, after checking the wiring and tighen up a few odd bolts . The oil dipstick had broke...(I think had been leaking before) so I have JB weld it together. I hope that does it.

So ..anybody out there know how I can flush the coolant by myself.... all my helpers are unavailable today..... Iguess I could wait til tomorrow.... Brian Cochran _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
