I'm going to make a guess here that you are really looking at a
different problem than you might expect.  As far as I know, there's no
reason for a CV boot to "leak", unless the CV grease is being invaded
by something less viscous than the grease.  The source of such
"invasion" can only be transmission oil sneaking past the oil seals in
that flange.  You probably should disconnect the affected CV joint
from the flange and take a look.  The oil seal for the transmission
can be renewed with the trans in place.
