Subject:      How to sep filler neck from tank on 84?

I think my tank is all set to drop, except that the filler is still connected to the tank(dc'd from body tho).  Does this just *pull* off?  Is it detrimental to the seal?  A no-brainer replacement item? Note that this is NOT the problem I am fixing and I'd rather not replace it since it takes 3 days to mail order parts here.  Thanks for the answer!
