We've been using the S&S header for about 20k miles. I am happy with it. When installing, you need to go slowly and carefully, as it's hard to undo an error. Use some exhaust joint compound on the slip joints. Ours had one tube that was contacting the engine cradle on acceleration, but a 2x4 and a little prying solved that. We do seem to be making more power than the original, and the sound is a little nicer I think. The tubes definitely are rusting (particularly this winter in the northeast), but I expected that. I got my money's worth.
