Subject: Power Widow Motor
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

When I purchased my '91 GL the person I bought it from was in the middle of replacing the passenger side power window motor. He had trouble, so he sent it to a repair shop to have them do the install. A couple of weeks went by and I finally was able to pick it up.

This is where it gets weird. When I got in the van to check it over one last time, the seller told me that the repair shop had to relocate the motor higher inside the door thus having to remove the speaker. Frustrated with the situation yet eager to drive home, 150 miles away, I drove off with my new wheels.

My question is, can I move the motor to it's original location or was the repair shop legit in saying that this is the only place to mount the new motor? I think I was taken for a ride. Plus, I have no speaker in the door.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Brian '91 GL
