Hi all, I am considering buying an auxillary heater from an 82 Diesel Westy to put in my 86 Gasoline Westy GL, and was wondering if anyone out there can offer advice on the following: Can the aux heater from the diesel run on gas. The seller thinks so but i want to make sure before i buy? If not has anyone ever installed a small diesel tank so they could use one of these heaters in their gas westy? Is the installations possible? How much of a PITA is it? Is this a good heater for use when camping? How is the amperage draw? Is it practical to run all nite on one aux battery. Your help is greatly appreciated. If I make the swap ill post the results to the list. Thanks very much, Andrew Fox 86 Westy GL (needs to be winterized for ski trips) |
