I met, most likely, the only RCMP in the Yukon Territory while driving my brother's V8 Tundra from Portland, OR to Anchorage. Sheesh, what a smooth ride. I was flying. I argued with Shirley over the fact that it only seemed as though I was going 80 mph--you see, at the time, our horizontal vector was well within the speed limit, but we were free-falling into a frost heave at nearly a 100 mph. Combine those components, and her radar went off like a Slot Machine. No lie she says, "so you got yourself a speedin' ticket, eh." The proceeded to tell me that I didn't need to be in such a hurry. I thought to my self, "Shirley, if I was in a hurry and we crossed paths in this truck--I'd most likely be spending a night in jail for reckless driving." My Vanagon keeps me out of Traffic Court. robyn At 07:37 AM 3/13/2001 -0800, you wrote: >I got a speeding ticket driving along the beach in st. >Petersburg in florida. 50 in a 35 $158.
