I have five 15 in Audi Ronal alloy wheels for sale right now, modified to bolt on a syncro. Theyd need further center hub grinding to fit a 2 wheel drive van. Offset is 45 mm. I sanded the orig. light gold color, and primered them, then sprayed many coats of silver wheel paint and clear. They look nice. pmail me if interested. Also have a few factory 14 alloys.. -s roadcamp@hotmail.com ----Original Message Follows---- From: chassegaleri@yahoo.com Reply-To: subaruvanagon@yahoogroups.com To: subaruvanagon@yahoogroups.com Subject: [subaruvanagon] Bigger wheels on 2WD Vanagon Date: Tue, 13 Mar 2001 19:01:27 -0000 Hello everyone, Since I have more power with the Subie engine, I have been thinking about installing bigger wheels on my van. I know that SA 16" are available but I dont have much $$ to spend. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any steel rims that would fit the 2WD Vanagon. I have phoned my local VW/Audi wrecker and they told me Audi 15" alloy would work. I would need to replace the studs and maybe grind a little of the centre of the rims to fit over the hubs. Has anyone put bigger wheels on their 2WD Vanagons? If so, what size wheel and tires did you use? Thanks in advance. Daniel Custeau 1980 2.7 L flat-six Subie Van '
