With.......4 axles, 8 CVs, 2 differentials, 1 viscous coupling (expensive, easily ruined and only good for about 80-100K miles). Yes they are more trouble and expense than 2wds....DEFINITELY !.... .........but more than they're worth??? Depends on whether you live in snow regions, where you like to go, and how you get your kicks. I live in CA, only occasionally go to the snow in the Sierras, but take mine into remote places for flyfishing. With recent repairs and upgrades, I'm into mine about $22K. Worth it to me.
