Hi Volks, Everyone has probably heard this before, but please CHECK YOUR FUEL LINE CLAMPS FOR LEAKS routinely after changing lines and installing list recommended clamps. I had a bad leak (understatement) yesterday that could easily have resulted in fire. There was at least one major leak along the right side fuel rail. The air filter assy was blocking the view so I couldn't really see from where (prob rail to injector(s). I changed lines and clamps last May and have had no problems with leaks until yesterday. I agree stainless clamps that don't cut the lines are really the way to go, but mine loosened over time. HAVE YOURS? regards, Fred 89 Westy |
