Subject: slight surge from 2000 to 3000 to 2000 and back
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

THis is driving me nuts. (84, 1.9) I have a surgin' issue. It has been haunting me since the Clinton Adminstration. Here is what is doing and what i've done. Slight surge when driving. Idle is smooth at 1000 or so. while in neutral if i accelerate to 2000rpm and hold it, after 30second or so it will go to 3000rpm for 15 seconds or so and then back to 2000. Repeat every 30 to 40 seconds. Grounds- all polished and some replaced for kicks. AFM, track cleaned- 40K on it. Oxy sensor- new. Temp2- new. Thermostat- new, throttle switchs turn off as soon as you move the accelerator cable and when fully open. Air filter new. Ohhh, new seat swivel. All vacuum lines replaced (all that i could find at least) fuel pressure regulator replaced with a used 'good' one from a list person (traded for quart of my honey). Plugs, cap, wires, relays ok. COmpression great.

Not done but could they be the issue? Crack case ventilation Idle stabilizer (but the idle is stable) 22uF capicator fix (details needed on that)

I only 1/2 trust the bus because of this. I've searched the archives for this and got mostly the things i've already done... -THanks Matthew 84 w/ new swivel :-)
