A. people who write for magazines usually haven't much of a personality themselves. :)

B. people who write for automobile magazines usually think all automobiles should look and drive like Ferraris or Porsches or, in the case of Consumer Reports, Ford Crown Victorias. :)

C. people who go around saying, especially in print, that this or that automobile has no "personality" most often do not know what "personality" is ... to them, "personality" means "expensive": cheap cars have no "personality"; only Ferraris, Porsches, etc. have "personality".

D. the writer is likely highly pissed cause she/he wasn't sent to the auto show where the Ferraris, Porsches, etc. were being shown/tested/etc. :)
