Anybody notice that those are homemade jet engines? Three semitruck turbochargers and a bunch of ducting! And only 190 Lb thrust from three engines that weigh how much 600Lb pretty poor thrust to weight ratio considering that a small turbine engine used on an aircraft weighs a few hundered pounds and puts out over a thousand pounds of thrust. Or even better for this car how about a FJX-2 700Lb thrust 100Lb weight think of the possiblilities.

On the issue of fuel mileage if it burns fuel like other turbojets it is probably burning something like .6Lb (at the minimum) per HP per Hr so thats 21Gals *8Lbs per gallon for Jet A divided by 190Lb thrust divided by .6Lbs gives us a running time of about 1.5 Hrs or at 85 mph only 127 miles (6 mpg!), but oh wait that stop and go traffic must be a pain with that fuel burn at idle! And I don't think the people behind you will like seeing thier paint burning off thier hoods as you sit at a light.
