> Good luck. I am trying to view a diesel Westfalia for sale here in CA this week, but my work schedule might rule it out. They want $3,800, new engine w/14,000 miles on it, new transmission, and that's all I know til I look at it. One plus is the owner is a truck driver with experience with diesels. The PO of my 7-pass diesel didn't have a clue about diesels (I'm surprised she found her way to California in one piece - not to be mean at all, it's just a fact - a plain-jane Honda would have been a better choice for her). As for the radio, I bought a Sony CD player (at Sears, I think Wal-Mart has them too) that fits ok in the dash. Sometimes people on the list have the stock Heidleberg radio for sale; those are cool (came stock on my gasoline Wolfsburg). > > >>> "Frederick M.
