Subject: Dometic RC160E Manual, Orlando Show n Shine
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I scanned the manual for my refrigerator that came with my van and the results are at: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/PopUpIndex?u=1443607&a=12041425&theme=Default &pp=&frame

This is the portable unit that comes in base Camper models, not the built-in one that are found in GL Campers.

We had 6 Vanagon Campers at the Orlando show and shine this weekend and had a great time. Three of us were entered in the show, and all of us parked in a circle in the trees together. Tom and Mercedes, and their 85 camper, were at the show and are just beginning their vacation in Florida after traveling US41 from Wisconsin. It was a beautiful day, high of 85 with a slight breeze. I met Sam, his wife Sherry, his daughter Brittany, and his 1987 Wolfsburg Edition Camper that he got off of ebaY in Atlanta. It's burgundy and in good condition, its the first base camper model I've seen in person besides Goldibox. Tom M. was there in his beautiful 89? white GL Camper, and Rich B. eventually showed up in his 80 camper. The last camper was owned by a mechanic at Aristocrat VW and I can't recall his name. He wasn't around much since Aristocrat sponsored the show. He had a white 86 GL camper with a fifth seat and O.E magnetic front window screens.

There were at least 120 vehicles in the show and tons of spectators. I will try to get some of my photos up, but I only got some shots of the vans, since we were all busy showing our vehicles to the crowd most of the day.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I want to encourage everyone to join their local VW club chapter and show off their Vanagon. If any of you are like me, you put a lot of time and effort into your vehicle and like to show it off and talk about it.
