I've never broken a Fuller (Japanese-made) or koken socket. In fact the only one I broke was a no-name borrowed from a friend, from one of those 24-pieces-for-$7.50 kits; I split my finger in the sparkplug opening of my aircooled engine when it went. Another of these I stripped completely on a Honda motorcycle 8mm-head crankcase cover bolt! When i hit the stripped socket with a hammer it squashed it!
