I blanched when I found out what the local VW dealer wanted to replace this piece of plastic (cover alone not available; have to buy the whole unit). So, I did a little research and found out that all three of these inlets are manufactured in the USA. It may cost you around $30, but it's a far cry from the $100 or so that VW wants for the exact same part. Check out the following website for info: http://www.deltasix.com/
