Hold the presses!

Helen just informed that my memory, huh?, is defective, for let's see..... the googleplexth time.

We did not use ripstop fabric, it was a coated nylon taffeta, it is used to make exterior banners and flags. The distinction is lost on me , a mere man. As I am told, the ripstop, while it indeed will not rip, tends to fray at the seams more than this tight weave coated nylon taffeta.

Helen said that we spent about $300 on materials. The yards do add up. Our awning is as big as I could fit, I think it is 9.5 feet long. Covers the sliding door from open to closed and then some on each end.

To do the "wall", you really need a big space for the sewing. We have an upstairs on our garage that is 28' wide, made for a nice layout area.

Helen & Joe
