Volks -

I have been looking at various heat systems for awhile, and have decided that I want to hold out for 12000 btu. Eventually there might be some news about new PlatCat models, but in the meantime, I ran across something interesting.

The EuroVan camper by Winnebago uses a Suburban brand heater which fits into a space about like where the bottom of the closet is in my '87 Westy.

I just looked at Suburban's web site -

http://www.coolcontent.com/TWC/Suburban/Catalog/default.html

and noticed that they have several models that are 9 3/8 x 9 3/8 x 22 1/2. They don't have pictures, other than the generic one on the selection page, but it looks as if it might have alternative air input choices.

They aren't cheap, at about $500, but I would like to know more about them. Have any of you looked at the Suburban in the EuroWinnie? Any thoughts about adapting it to a Westy? Do you know where a wrecked EuroWinnie is :-)

I'll try to get some info from Suburban, but in the meantime, I thought I would get your thoughts.
