I beg to differ, look at the different views of the rear of the car. The compressor of the engine exhausts to a large diameter pipe that runs forward into the car. The combustion chambers appear to be several round units in the trunk of the car. The exhaust turbine is feed by another large pipe coming from under the car. An APU or small gas turbine has its combustors mounted between the compressor and the exhaust turbine, not several feet from it. and look at the exhaust nozzle it is a simple piece of rolled sheet metal welded to a flange and bolted to the exhaust turbine. These three turbines are much larger and of lower output then the APU's I've seen in survice. These are nothing like any APU or other turbine engine I have ever seen.
