Yeah, flat. Great quality, huh? At the time I didn't have an 8mm socket, so borrowed this one. I had thought it had stripped the bolthead corners, as these bolts are notoriously soft, but no, it was the socket which failed. About as hard as cream-cheese.

Needless to say these days I make sure I have the right tools, of at least decent quality.
