Subject: O2/ECU Coaxial wire...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

after all the discussion with poor idle and faulty O2 sensors etc in the last couple days I too replaced my O2 sensor and still experience poor idle and occasional hesitation (usually in wet/humid weather). This leads me to think I have a short in the wire that runs from the ECU to the O2 (as someone stated that they are know to short out). Well, I checked with the dealer on the part number 443 971 108A and they want $100cdn for it. I would spend the money if I could guarante this would solve the problem. But after replacing parts more so out of the "process of elimination" I'm kind of hesitant that this will fix the problem. Is there a way of testing this green wire to see if it is the culprit??? any advice will be greatly appreciated. Chad 85GL
