Subject: porsche 928 s4 engine in vanagon
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

hey volks, i am in process of donating the 3.4l engine in my vanagon to a fiero that needs it more than i do. in any case, i am currently haggling with the dude that has the fiero to help me put his 1987 Porsche 928 s4 V-8 into the van amidships(mid-engine configuration).

i will be mutilating the rear seat area with a sawzall, relocating the gas tank to where the engine is now, and doing some other stuff to it.

i remember about 5 years ago, when i had first joined this list, there was talk about dudes in germany sticking a big engine in where the rear seat is, but i can't find the info anywhere on the web although i must admit i suck at finding stuff.

in any case, if anyone has that info, please get back to me.

thanks a bunch --sudhir
