Subject: Radio in 1982 Westy, Radiator
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

The saga of "Sammy" continues, Now that I got it running I am wanting to drive it and check for leaks :-), but the Radio sucks! The PO just threw something in the Tape player is broken, what can fit in my Vanagon. Does anyone have one that works, maybe not the best (I am Not an audiophile) I just want to listen to tapes and FM. Suggestions, Best Buy?? I have run my Van up to operating temp in the driveway( just today am going to license it). But I never seem to get the radiator hot, I want to pressurize the system to test for leaks, lots of heat from front vents at operating temps but radiator still cold. Will I have to wait till I am driving it to get it pressurized or because of the cold here in Nebraska will I need to wait until warmer weather to see if when we had the radiator fixed that we got all the leaks! Sorry to ramble on but I am finally going to be able to drive it, maybe as soon as today! Remember I purchased "Sammy" in September 0f 2000 and have not go to enjoy driving in her yet!
