Hi ...anyone running the above tires on a 2wd westy with 14" steel wheels? For the Yoko's,...Seems I have a choice of the 185/R14 or the 195/75R14 size - both D load rated. For the Bridgestone ...its a 603V on a D rating. I'm thinking 'D' rating over 'C' - erring on the side of caution as its a heavy van...what's the downside of doing this though?
Searching the vanagon & typeII archives is confusing ....I think the problem is different vans requiring different tires ... for example, ... westy Vs passenger van. alloys vs steel rims 14" vs 15" wheels synchro vs non synchro.
I'd be interested in hearing from anyone with a 2WD Westy, 14" steel wheels. Reply off the list if you wish as this seems to be a not too popular topic. Steve |
