Rich, If you want to lower your van, I recommend the Boge high-performance lowering springs. I'm actually trying to sell a set because they didn't play well with my 15" SA alloys. The Boge spring kit fits all Vanagons except Syncros. Lowers the ride to Wolfsburg height for better cornering. I would say about a 1.5-2" drop. The ride is great. With these springs tires fill the wheel wells nicely. Had 'em on my van for about 100 miles. Suggested retail $379 or more. Asking $300 plus shipping. Drew Bedford 83.5 Westy Park City, Utah
