8-10 psi is better than me! Bob's email is down, I think he plans on announcing some details about the results of the bearing, but he said that "it wasn't the bearings" and .004 was the number he threw out at me. I was more into the oil press problem at the time of conversation. My engine only had 70,000 on a VW rebuild. It was a long shot. Ithink it's the relief valve as stated, but I had light problems today and it sucked. The engine is fine until it worked Hard up a hill for a spell, then at idle, it lights up. The oil, 10w-40, is admittingly thin, but I'm breaking the engine in...160 miles thus far. I'm still waiting for a new spring...should have been here today! I also need to adjust the valves still. I have no clatter for some time now from .006 lash on 'em , That's a chore though since there's the whole compression thing involved. I'm saving it for a nice wkend.

Sorry for all the details, but i"m posting this reply as well. If your engine has been well treated, there's no reason for it not going farther. ..... Except the VW reason. Thanks for the reply! Brian Cochran

I'm hoping my spring is weak and the new will save the day.
