Hello, I've noticed about two months ago, on top of a plethora of other major problems, my fridge doesn't work off of AC. I usually run it on such to get it "warmed up" for propane. (BTW, it works fine on propane, last time, without a warm-up, it was "cooking" in less that 10 minutes.) The old instruction manual that came with the van says the heater element is bad if it doesn't work on 120 VAC. MY question is: anybody known this problem to be something else? I didn't find a fuse, save the circuit breaker, which is fine. I know there is juice at the plug-in under the sink. Bus Boys carries the heater element for a SPENDY $225. THAT is a little more than I want to spend. Is this repairable? I'd like to gather info before I pull the fridge from the wall, since that's a chore!
