This time there were several complaints about the yokos, which I had previouslynothing but complements.... I'd love to hear from any of you about your experiences with the Yokos and any others that youlike. Thanks, Peter >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi All- To respond, I'd like to say that I have a 1990 Syncro non-westie. On it I have Yokohama Geolandar A/T's in a 215-75-15. They are "C" rated & have a very aggressive tread that seem quiet on road. I have had'em for about 2 years & love 'em. They added a nice 1.5" to my ground clearance & fill out the wheel wells nicely. I see postings about other Yokos occasionally, but never see mention of the Geolandar series. They have 2 other, more aggressive versions & one that is more of an all season road tire more suited to the 2wd vans out there. Here is Tire Rack's page for mine: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/yokohama/yo_geolanderat.jsp No problems with clearance anywhere, although I'm not sure what a different offset would do. My wheels are et25, but I have plenty of room all around. I bought mine at Discount tire & they were about $80 each if I remember correctly. I will try to get some photos of my wheel & tire setup to have posted on the vanagon.com wheel/tire page since nobody else seems to have either of mine. Thanks, David K Seattle 1990 Syncro 15" 63 Comet
