Ok we took the engine out tonite to find that the piston on #1 is no longer there.The ticking noise that I heard seems to be that #1 rod spun a bearing allowing it to tap on the lifter bosses.Breaking the lifter boss with the lifter still in it on the intake for #1.running about 4300 rpm when this happened melted #1 piston till it exploded so.. case is shot crank is no more the cam has a crack in it and the heads are fine. Darrel looking for short block or long block for rebuild any help?
