Chad: I always suspect either the ring s are letting gas get by or there's a problem with the cold start/fuel injector system in the ECU orthe injectors are dribbling gas after shut off maybe? Bentley manual has a check for this. Lots of short winter trips to work and shopping will have the same effect when the engine doesn't get a chance to fully warm up and evaporate that stuff. You're gas mileage should be suffering too.
