Hi all.
It is with great sadness that I must put my rabbit up for sale. The Vanagon
is done, and the rabbit is just taking up space- wife says its gotta go!!
I wanted to tell everyone here before i put it on ebay!
She's a 1981 rabbit, with 71500 miles. i bought her from the original owner
in Kansas.
 Recent work i have had done:  front struts and tie rods-about a month ago.
 4 new glow plugs and the fast glow relay conversion kit. water pump. timing
belt.exhaust from the head back. 4 new tires.valve cover gasket air cleaner
and oil filter. that's about it on the improvements.
 The few things the car needs: 1 rotor is out of round- jitters the steering
wheel when stopping at highway speeds(annoying)  the sunroof doesn't work-its
covered by an aftermarket headliner.it will also need a radio. The passenger
side motor mount may need replacing- it vibrates at idle,when cold. I have
one that goes with the car.
 i think that's it...
   the body is real nice- as you can see from the pic.interior is nice too,
no tears or burns.
   SO,if you are interested- i would really like to get $1700.00 for this
car- its worth every penny.  To sweeten the pot, I will also give you all the
tools to set the injector pump and replace timing belts,an extra block
heater, and an oil pan heater.
