Subject: new horns saved my ass today
Comments: cc: "tsmola@tribune.com" <tsmola@tribune.com>

I just posted the installation of some 1995 Audi 5000 horns on my 85' Westy. Well today driving into NBC, a full size sedan began drifting into my lane as if he were changing lanes. Of course I was next to him when he decided to do this manuever. Well I blasted those loud twin tone Audi horns and he immediately got back over. These horns are so much louder than stock, and with no real frontal protection and the poor evasive handling of a Vanagon. I need all the prevenative help I can get.

I want to thank the list member who first mentioned those Audi 5000 horns in their list of improvements to their van......I forgot your name, but you know who you are.

Malibu Tony 85' Westy Bilsteins, MXT's, 6-degrees BTDC on my 1.9 L digijet......
