Speaking of that, I just remembered... A while ago, someone was telling me of
a car manufacturer that put the engine in the back of a van, and had it on
some sort of slide plate, that allowed you to pull the engine completely out
of the vehicle to work on it. All you would have to do is remove a few hoses.
Does anyone have any info on this? Did VW do it at all? Something tells me
no. Is it possible to have that rigged up to a Vanagon? That would help
considerably on engine work.
