I'm sitting here with a printout of the Caravelle/Volvo test photos in front of me, and as far as I can tell the VW is NOT riding up over the Ovlov. And both vehicles' bumpers are at pretty much the same level, as can be seen in the suaring-off pretest image. Don't forget, the VW's bumpers are located at the bottom edge of the body. Cars generally have bumpers situated well above the body's lower edge, with an "apron" below on older cars.

Shame there aren't better images of the damage to the VW, though.
