Peter,

I have been running BFGoodrich 27 x 8.50 R14 C's on my 2wd Westy for more than 20K miles so far, and am pretty happy with 'em. They're a tad noisy though. They work ok in wet weather, but I have never tested them in snow. Maximum load is 1515lbs at 50 PSI.

I'm not sure whether I'd replace them directly when the time comes, but they're high on the list.
