I'm told they are basicaly just an inline 4, (1.8, 2.0) with another cylinder stuck on the end. They are very long lived engines just like their little brothers, but have really nice power output. I've owned a couple, and the people who know about audi GT's love them. If it will go in without a too much trouble I think it's a great idea.
